A Massive Earthquake Rocks Chile

2.  What made the item of interest to you?
I think that it made it interesting by the way they told me what happened and how many people died. It also made it interesting to read about how the United States is helping out over there.

In Chile they had a huge earthquake that killed more then 700 people. The earthquake traveled 70 miles northeast and was an 8.8 magnitude.
It infected almost 2 million people by destroying home and building.

It happened early Saturday morning of this week. The earthquake hit around 3:34 in the morning. March 1, 2010
