I think that it was very kind of the Red Cross to reunite the families that where affected by the earthquake.

3.  Summarize the item: This is a story about boys ranging in age from eight to 12, were separated from their families during the chaos the quake caused. They had been taken to an orphanage, and the Red Cross' tracing teams in Haiti investigated the whereabouts of their families.

Who?  (Who is the article about?) The article is about The Red Cross reuniting families that where in the earthquake that hit Haiti. There are boys that got separated from their families and The Red Cross got them back together.
What?  (What exactly happened?  USE PLENTY OF DETAILS!) There where three boys that got separated from their families and they ended up at an orphanage, they are the age eight to twelve. This happened during the chaos that the earthquake caused. They are now being reunited with their families. The orphanage that they are at is helping thousands of people that have lost their families in the earthquake.
