School Rules

By Brad

There are a lot of school rules. Some are necessary and others are not necessary at all. Let's talk about some rules.

First, I would like to talk about the rule, "No Food in Class." Food is delicious and during recess or school breaks we can't eat that much. For example, those kids that don't eat at home rely on 2nd chance break. But at this breakfast you can't eat a lot, I mean come on 1 serving. Also what if you finish your work before every one in class and your stomach is growling what do you do sit there and feel miserable, "No." That is why we should eat in class.

Second, "No Texting in Class". I think this rule should be eliminated because I think as long as the student is paying attention in class and does well on his work he/she should be able to text. Like my friend he always texts in class but he also always pays attention and does his work. That is an example right there.

Lastly, chewing gum. Chewing gum is a big thing at school. Even though none of the teachers know who is chewing gum they know we chew gum in class. Also to support my theory it is shown that chewing gum helps keep the brain moving. This browser will show you the article: http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/life/health-fitness/health/A-reason-to-chew-gum-in-classrooms/articleshow/4439301.cms .

That is why some rules should be eliminated. And some should be changed.
